Status: Permanent full time
Schedule: 14/14 day and night rotation – room and board at mine site
Workplace: Detour Lake Mine - Agnico Eagle located in northern Ontario
Duties and Responsibilities:
Repair equipment by performing certain mechanical work
Assist the crusher operator and replace him on occasion
Quickly identify anomalies in the crushing plant
Be the eyes of the tower operator by performing inspections
Operate heavy machinery
Carry out maintenance of the crusher
Requirements:
Experience as an auxiliary, labourer, laborer or in crushing – an asset
Class 5 driver’s license
Good physical capacity
Ability to work on construction sites and be exposed to bad weather
Knowledge of the French language – an asset
Great versatility and resourcefulness
Be hardworking, autonomous and have a good team spirit
